Red Shoe Run: Rockin' 5k

Pre-race packet pick up volunteers will be responsible for providing walkers and runners their race bag.
This process will all be electronic and contactless. You will be asked to utilize your own mobile device or tablet to assist in this task.

1700 4th Avenue South - Breezeway

Course Marshals will be paired in two’s along the race routes. They will be responsible for guiding runners on the course, ensuring they are going in the right direction and notifying staff leads of any emergencies. They also serve as great encouragement to the walkers and runners.

Finish Line Experience volunteers will serve in different capacities at the finish line.

Not an individual opportunity but more of a team building opportunity for groups. Captains please sign up with the guarantee of rallying together 5+ people to accompany you at your station. Cheer stations can be as creative and loud as you want (posters, speakers, etc.)

The Set Up crew will arrive onsite at 5:30am and assist the RMHCA Staff team with a variety of tasks including setting up tents, chairs, and tables. This volunteer should feel comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs.

These volunteers will check in runners the morning of the event, or assist with walk up registrations. Both of these processes are all electronic. Your own mobile device or tablet will have to be used.

Personal Mobile Device - 1+

Volunteer tent volunteers will stay stationed at the volunteer tent to oversee check in / check out and watch volunteer’s belongings.

‘Ask Me’ volunteers will serve as greeters for the event. They will spread out among the event site and welcome guests and answer any FAQ.

Merchandise volunteers will oversee all merchandise sales.

Floaters and trash control volunteers will circle the event area picking up any trash and making sure trash cans are not overflowing.
